Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology Construction (GTIIT), jointly organized by the world-renowned Israel Institute of Technology and Shantou University, is the first Chinese-foreign cooperative university with independent legal personality to introduce Israel high-quality higher education resources. The school construction land is divided into two phases, with the university road as the boundary, Guangdong Israel Institute of Technology is divided into North Campus and South Campus. The South Campus under construction is the main campus of GTIIT, and is a vital construction project in the province and city.

The main construction contents include administrative building, teaching building, library, lecture hall, teaching experimental building (some laboratories do not include indoor decoration), scientific research experimental building (Qingshui building), garbage room, sewage treatment room and other supporting room.
