This project is committed to relying on the regional cultural environment and the ecological landscape pattern as the base. Through the overall analysis of the spatial environment of the industrial park, the project integrates the development of the surrounding industries, and shapes the ecological riverside greening cultural corridor with the unique charm of the industrial park, so as to create a new space for the integrated circuit industrial park.

In the north entrance of the integrated circuit industrial park, the design takes ‘Xin Yuan’ as the theme, the design extracts the linear circuit elements of the circuit board, adopts the modern folding curve line type composition technique, and takes the gray, white, the organic integration of plane and vertical design forms a simple open atmosphere waterfront square landscape.

'Xin’ represents the integrated circuit chip in Chinese language, and ‘Yuan’ represents the headwater. Since the industrial park is adjacent to the ancient canal, which ‘Yuan’ indicates that there is connection between the ancient canal and the park. It is worth to mention that ‘Xin Yuan’ and ‘wish’ are homophonic in Chinese pronunciation, one of the design purposes for Shaoxing Integrated Circuit Industrial Park is to represent the common wish that the advance of technology and the development of city could makes the common prosperity comes true.

The design integrates innovative design into the improvement of landscape river section, strengthens the spatial connection between the characteristics of the industrial park and landscape nodes, and combines the layout of waterfront space, parks and green space, forming a coordinated and distinctive regional industrial style. Also, the design enhances the continuity of the landscape greenway, and strives to create a unified overall high-tech industrial park riverside cultural landscape belt.

The design of waterfront landscape greenway space caters to the surrounding industries and people, adopts streamlined design methods, and provides three different travel modes of waterfront roaming, interactive fitness and scientific and technological sightseeing for the surrounding people. It enables people to experience the natural feelings brought by the waterfront landscape, and at the same time, brings endless energy and popularity to the waterfront landscape greenway. It also creates a landscape space with a sense of belonging, which plays a decisive role in beautifying the regional impression.

Moreover, the project is also integrated into the sponge city design to fix its flood problem and purify the initial rain pollution from the source.
