The total planned area of the project is 26.45 square kilometers. The three water-related aspects of "water ecology, water environment and water safety" are identified and demanded, and the "seepage, stagnation, storage, purification, utilization and drainage" are cleverly implemented in the construction of sponge renovation according to local conditions.

The three parks involved in the project focus on ecological restoration combined with the construction of park green space. Caoqiao Middle School and others fully consider the visual display function and popular science education function of the sponge-type campus construction. According to local conditions, sponge renovation measures such as permeable pavement, ecological revetment, rainwater garden, ecological grass ditch, sunken green space, biological retention belt and roof garden are adopted to control the initial rainwater runoff pollution and improve the park and campus landscape.
